Little India @ Singapore

Spent about a day in Singapore. Because of the short time, decided to see only as much as I can and come later for a more relaxed visit. So, desperate for good Indian food, went to Little India. Was not to be disappointed.





Shops, film posters and good cheap south Indian food everywhere. The place reminded me of some of the small towns in India with their relatively slow pace of life and beautiful colorful streets. Within a few minutes of arriving there, I felt that the title does not suit this place and it should instead be called Little Chennai as everyone who approached me would start speaking in Tamil. Nice place to shop too with everything cheaper than in Darwin.
